Heroy Day Camp

Heroy Day Camp caters to children with an adventurous spirit and a love for the outdoors. Located in North Stamford at Heroy Park, your children will have access to any and every sport or outdoor activity their little heart desires. Heroy Day Camp is set in a park with a baseball field, basketball court, pool, pavilion, tennis courts, and a fully air-conditioned recreation building for those hotter days. To keep things interesting, counselors put their all into creating a weekly theme for the kids and take them on several field trips throughout the course of the summer.

Davenport Day Camp is a traditional summer day camp that offers creative opportunities in arts & crafts, adventures, sports, gym games, pool time, and field trips. Campers are grouped by age to ensure they’re involved in age-appropriate activities and fun for all involved! Located at Davenport Elementary School on Newfield Ave, this day camp has a convenient pick-up and drop-off point that Stamford parents love.

Star center day camp takes place at the Recreation Star Center on Shippan Ave. This traditional 8-week summer camp offers guaranteed summer fun for children ages 6-10 years old. With a different theme each week, and endless opportunities for swimming, sports, gym games, water games, and color wars, your child won’t want to leave at the end of the day!

Located at Barrett Park on Newfield Ave, this summer camp will help your child find appreciation for the outdoors and nature. Each day, your child will have endless opportunities to make memories with arts & crafts, board games, water games, special events hosted by the counselors, and sports. Children should bring their own lunch, suntan lotion, and a swimsuit to ensure they’re ready for summer fun!

Taking place at Newfield Elementary School on Pepper Ridge Road, the Newfield Summer Camp has both indoor and outdoor activities planned for each and every day of the summer. Your child will participate in games, sports, arts & crafts, special events hosted by the counselors, and playground time. Newfield Summer Camp offers 3 field trips each summer to further ensure your child’s enjoyment.

Westover Summer Day Camp (Stark Day Camp)

The largest day camp in Stamford offers a jam-packed schedule of sports, swimming, board games, activities, and special events hosted by counselors. Lunch is available at no extra cost for campers who prefer not to bring their own, and groups are arranged by grade to ensure fun is had by all.
**Due to construction, the Westover Summer Day Camp (aka the Stark Day Camp) will not be taking place at Westover Elementary School this year. Location is TBD but should be announced by 3/15/2021.**

Italian Center Summer Day Camps

The Italian Center, located on Newfield Ave, offers a flexible summer camp experience for children who love sports, swimming, games, and the outdoors. Campers can attend 2, 4, 6, or 7 weeks of camp, and attendance does not have to be consecutive. Located on a beautiful sprawling campus with 5 pools, 12 tennis courts, a full-size indoor gym, and more than enough space for outdoor games played on the grass, the Italian Center has something for everyone.

Chelsea Piers Summer Camps

Chelsea Piers offers summer camp options for children of all ages. They offer traditional summer day camp options along with sports-focused options for all of the budding athletes around Stamford. 
Their Little Athletes Camps cater to children 3-5 years old, and their Full-Day Camp options are for children 5-13 years old. For children and teenagers ages 7-17 who are particularly interested in a specific sport, they offer the Elite Training Programs which focus on developing skillsets needed to excel.

The JCC, located on Newfield Ave, offers a variety of summer day camps for children ages <1 year old to 14. The JCC offers a variety of activities ranging from swimming to archery to indoor games, and has something for everyone!
